OMG They Found the Cure for Stupid

Alyson, When answering the question "How are you", I consider who is asking. Many close friends and family truly want to know. The poor box boy at the grocery store does not. My answers vary... I'm doing well, I have good days and bad days, the flashes and joint/bone pain are getting old, I'm running away tomorrow, want to join me?.
-
Poppy, you must have nicer looking box boys than at my market
-
Poppy.. Yes I agree.. I choose how to answer " how are you ".. depending on who I'm talking to..some friends genuinely want to know, others can't handle it if I REALLY tell them how I'm feeling..and yep.. the box boy definitely doesn't want to (or need to) know. :-)

My answer..........Same shit, dfifferent day.................again depending on who it is.........
-
Z, yes! I was right in the middle of treatment and I visited one of our local establishments. I had big huge dark circles under my eyes, no wig on, i was dressed in sweats, no makeup, and an acquaintance that knew I was going through treatment said to me, "You're looking really good for someone going through treatment." I just didn't even know what to say. I wonder if she noticed my mouth wide open with the drool hanging out. lol
People do say the darndest things.
If I'm not feeling well I just say I'm hanging in there.
Lucy.....too funny!!! hahaha
-
People tell me all of the time that I look good, considering what I'm going through. Only a couple of people saw me when I was too nauseous to open my eyes or too weak to even speak. Most of the time when people tell me I look good, my first thought is that they are commenting on how fat I got, as opposed to the skinny cancer people tv and movies portray!

-
Poppy.. HaHa.. Yes.. "You' re looking good " always translates to me as "You've put on weight " when people say it too !!! :-)
-
Slow.. I'm on a "roll " now.. look.what you started :-)

-
Even on the computer screen that spider is nasty!
Why take a laxative when a spider will do the job?... and you don't have to ingest it!
-
LMAO...........
-
Ewwww Lucy!! Now I'm gonna be looking for spideys in my tp.
I think we can all relate to this one.

-

PoppyK: cute bathing suit. Did you remember your sunscreen?

this little pig needs gumboots as it is pouring here. A short time ago had a great thunderstorm.

Do piggies get sunburn? Teehee! Love, Jean

Love the pigs but they make me a little sad. Long ago now when I first started this journey my chemo group all changed our avatars to flying pigs as support for Twink who was the first sista we lost. This was mine for a while. I hadn't thought about this for ages. Little pigs do fly. -
LOL! I would have a pet pig if I could.
I've seen pictures of those swimming pigs of the Bahamas! I think that would be so fun... hope they don't poo in the water.
-
Hugs Alyson.
