Pinktober kinda killed my liking for pink. I now wear blues an purples. But please, lets not get Granny started!
-
gma, after That picture and you dont want to get granny started????? Scottiee I had 1 wedding and that was enough for me, thank-you very much. Ds #2 just has to come through for me, although I hope not for awhile, hes only 21.Dd got married at 21 and was seperated at 22, but he was a butt-wipe. I tried to talk her into not marrying him in the first place, but she was so sure she wanted to, thought she could change him-he was a bad boy.I dont know, I just think weddings are kind of wierd these days, with all of them living together for years first. In dds case she had the baby first and then the wedding.
-
My folks tried to talk me out of marrying my first husband, too. didn't go well. he was (as you say) a butt wipe. Unfortunately, I didn't get smart as quickly as your daughter did - it lasted 7 years. Worst years of my life.
-
I just hope my sweet little gs doesnt take after his Daddy.
-
can't say much there - son is like me, daughter like him. Just remember, gs got both sets of genes - not just his.
-
This was just too funny - maybe it will make one of us smile!
-
Mom didn't approve of DH at all, tried her best to convince me it wouldn't work. Married him anyway---47 years ago TODAY! I have not had a moments regret.
-
Chabba, happy anniversary. My MIL said I wasn't the right one- we celebrated 36 years in May.
-
My MIL did not like me one bit. Even though she didn't know me, she claimed that I gave her a nervous breakdown. It's going to be 28 years in October.
Getting ready for my chemo class. I hope I get the results from the PT scan.
-
My parents and dh did not speak to each other for almost 10 years. After dh quit drinking he turned into their hero. Weve been married almost 32 years.
-
For years Mom would not call DH by name, she would even introduce him as "my son-in-law, What's His Name." It wasn't till I introduced her to some of our friends as "Dick's mother-in-law, What's Her Name" that she started calling him by name.
-
Chabba - this is my DD & SIL's 14th anniversary today! August is definitely a busy month.
Happy Anniversary to you!!!
-
Thank You. Just leaving for lunch.
-
Happy Anniversary, Chabba (and GMA's DD & SIL).
Mom didn't like my current husband, either - we've been together 35 years. (Dad liked him just fine.
-
Mary, I think you should renew your vows so that we can all show up in Pink....Granny can be your maid of honor in red..ha ha ha
-
Let me think about that...Hey I have a great idea, Ill add all of you to the guest list and you can come as my entourage, all dressed in pink, exept for granny, who can wear any color she damn well pleases, because I never want to be on her bad side
-
Sounds like a plan. LOL
-
