I just talked my self into having IBC on my foob.  I had a revision on my non cancer side last month, everything went good.  Now I have a slightly raised rash on my implant above the surgery site and right under it some places it touching the incision.  I am so worried that its IBC from what I read and the pictures I saw.  Is it possible to IBC on a implant?  I am going to see my Onc on Monday, any information grateful.  Thank you

    Hi Betty,

I don't think you can have IBC on the implant itself, but it might be possible to have it in your skin.  That's probably what you meant.  IBC affects they lymph vessels to the skin.  I am hoping & praying that it is something else and not IBC.  NJ

Ladies, I went to onc today and he said it didn't look like anything to be concerned with something with the surgery.  He said keep taking my antibiotic and  it will get lighter and it is already.  Thank you for your concern.
