Suzy< how is your experiment working? Tonight I am trying a new technique I heard about..I will start at the top of my arm and split the Ktape (where it naturally seperates) and start to wrap my arm like a corkscrew motion, continuing this all the way down my arm with as many pieces as needed. I will measure my arm before I do it and then 24 hrs later.

Also, I read a long article about a women who decided to take off her compression sleeve for good. She claims there has been NO change in her arm since she did this. All she does is MLD. This sounds scary as I would think my arm would blow up! LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU ALL THINK!

It's been a week now, and my arm is actually doing okay.  I was worried, Warrior, that mine would 'blow up' too, but it's done very well.  Of course, in addition to the kt, I'm doing MLD daily and compression bandaging nightly as well as using my flexi-touch machine every day.  So all of that is helping.

I am so so happy to be out of compression garments.  I know this isn't a solution for everyone, but I'm so happy it's working for me.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it continues!

Suzy, I'm really pleased for you.  Hooray and here's to you for trying something different.  You are a trail blazer.  May your success continue.  Hugs.

I have been kinesioed several times and have now been discharged from my MLD therapy. I use the flexitouch machine and now kinesio myself at home.  I was told by my therapist that when I removed the tape, that I should let my skin breathe, rest, whatever for 24 hours before I reapplied the tape. Hope this helps
