I know my question is trivial but an issue i am having. I am going on five yrs taking Tamoxefin and I have noticed my skin has changed. I can rub my arm and the skin rolls off. Also my makeup doesn't go on like it used to. My face skin is like dry skin just sitting ontop of the surface. My makeup does not go on smooth even after scrubbing my face. My face looks dry and dull. Anyone with the same problem?

I think that all kinds of dryness is a side effect of tamoxifen.  I have developed extremely dry eyes after taking it for two years.  I'm always putting drops in.  Vaginal dryness is a side effect, also.  So, it stands to reason that dry skin could be a side effect.  I don't have any suggestions except for tons of lotion.  I've been using an Aveda product called "hand repair" for my very dry hands; it works really well.  Will you stop tamoxifen after 5 years?  I wonder if your skin will become less dry when you stop.  Good luck, and congratulations on being almost 5 years from your diagnosis!
