Hi,

Its been a long time since I wrote, as I thought I had things under control....but overall I am not, so many things keep popping up and all winter, Ive been sick with flu like symptoms, and my doc, the reg one, as I have SO many things wrong with me, and I always have a list of things I want to discuss, and it use to be every 4-6 wks or sooner, now its 8 weeks and it seems he just doent care anymore..he was the one back in 99 who said my lump was a "fatty tissue" and each year after the same,  they did a core biop, which we all know aint worth a darn, and in 04 they finally after finally doing a FNA they found my cancer in R breast, and it had spread to underarm and almsot20 nodes, and all the way down my ribs....then next year the L breast had to go, then year after which was 06 they found "C" in my left hip bone, my onc told me "oh its just sleeping"..YIKES, and finally this past year he finally said Im in remission for past 2 years..but this scares me to pieces, just knwoing this cancer is still in me, I mean every pain etc scares me to pieces....and I have fibromyalgia, RSD etc.....and I have fought so hard and did everything they wanted me to do, well almost, as they were shocked I was alive..as I wouldnt do the Taxol or Rads...and they were shocked I was still alive....My R underarm is so painful and a lump, which he said is my fibro..MY fibro does NOT hurt like this, and Im just scarred ready to totally give up in all which ways...will someone help me, as I havent had anykind of life what so ever and stress up the wazoo...

Ter..I have fibromyalgia an I have never heard of a lump in ur underarm from fibro. You need to get a dif doc. Sounds to me lke he has ignore your needs. Hugs, Mazy

Thanks for your quick reply....that wasnt my reg doc "again" who said that, that was my onc who said that..he also for past couple years said my mets were "sleeping", everyoen had alot of laughs out of that, finally I asked him and told him "sleeping"???? do you mean "remissioin?"  he said yes...but the lump under my R arm is still there like 6-8 months...these dr's say from all the surgery its going to be like that..and at this point, I just dont believe any dr.    I feel my own diag are more right than theirss....but still leaves me so scarred...plus I have back pain, as Ive had 3 back surg 1 L/4 and 2 on my neck, and the first on neck they used my hip bone to make a disc..if I knew how bad it was going to be, I would of asked that time, like they did the 2nd and used a cadavera..and now I have 3 disc that are ruptured...all in all I just lost my brother in law due to back pain one wkk ago, he had a back ache and went to hosp and they found cancer surrounding the whole spine, chemo, rads, and his eyes they werent suppose to do the head per his onc, but they did anyway, then found 4 huge tumors which killed him..I dont believe in rads, and I wouldnt do it....I am just as grumpy as ever....thanks Mazy

You need to seriously think about accepting treatment for the bone mets.  Radiation is a breeze!  I am on on Arimidex and do have aches and pains but I am alive! Bone mets is treated like a chronic illness.  Go for it.  You deserve it and let's kick cancers butt!

Ter I have been following your story for close to 5 years now.........when you were on the hospice thread for so long.......

this is my own opinion but I believe that you need first of all probably rehab to try and get off the prescription pain medication and any other drug abuse that you have lost control of and then probably some psychological help........

4 years ago you nearly drove many good friends to turn on each other concerning you and your condition....I know that some women sent you gifts and money in trying to help you especially when your husband left....I really don't know what is true....I suspect that there are elements of truth in most of your stories but I don't want the newbies here to start "sending" you things in an outreach of goodwill.......please try and get yourself some professional help.........shokk

What the heck are you talking about?  Me wanting monies etc?????boy I dont know what you ate for breakfast, or what got in your panties, but your absolutely wrong, as I didnt get anything, except a flat chest, and a horrible walk if that what hobbling is called...OH you must be one of those people why so many people quit this site.....

Watch out girls, this has got to be one of those nasty ones...keep me out of here, you can have your battles, but dont include me....Man one day I came aboard since not wanting to come here and this is what I get????????    hugs to the girls that are decent...... Ter, you are in the wrong section.  If you are in remission with stage IV you need to post in that area. (Stage IV)

I also suggest you delete your thread in the hospice thread as this thread is strictly for those in hospice or receiving palliative care, or are supporting someone in that position.

If you disagree with another member you need to say so politely and respectfully, but reading your old posts, especially about the quilt people sent you, it seems likely that Shokk is correct.  She gave you some excellent suggestions with your best interests and well-being at heart and I suggest you follow them.

Everyone who had BC is deserving of support in this forum, you just need to move to the correct section where others will be better able to help you.  Take care.
