Where can I bitch?
Sorry, but I feel that I've got no place or no one to let off some steam with.
Why do people, who go on a trip, bring back things for those who didn't go? Do I really need something to remind me that I wasn't included?
My husband had known since September that the scouts were planning a trip to DC for this past weekend, yet he never discussed it with me about wether or not I would be going with him and our son. I only learned about it about a month ago at the dinner table. He "overlooked" it. Gee, he didn't overlook taking me to the damn scout camping trip last spring.
Other men brought their wives. And it doesn't seem to be a money issue because when I asked, he said it wouldn't have cost any extra to have taken me.
How the hell do you overlook your wife for a major trip like this??
#$^$%&*&(^*)^&#@!!
*sigh*

I am so sorry your husband never discussed the trip with you. Is he afraid you might be too fragile to go with BC? Still, no excuse. And you can complain anytime you want!!!!

Please, please, don't take this the wrong way but maybe he needs some time to be by himself? Obviously i don't know you and him and i am in the thick of treatment but it has been so hard for my husband. Sometimes he has expressed going somewhere without me (tactfully) or go out with his friends and i tell him 'go, please!'. He has picked up all slack for almost 6 months and i don't want him to fall apart either.

Maybe he was trying to give you a break from the kid(s). I know my DH does that, especially with scouts. Talk to him about it in a acalm manner and tell him you would like to be included.
Bitch away any time. That's what we're here for!

marie, there is one thread whose sole purpose is to give us a place to let off steam. IMHO, your situation is exactly why Traci started that thread.
The name of the thread is, "I'm bitchy, I moan, I groan.....anyway," and it's in the "Moving Beyond Cancer" forum. The thread is pretty active -- several posts a day, most days -- and it is old. Stop by there, read Traci's introductory post, and bitch away. You might be offered some suggestions and advice, as you've received here; but mainly the thread gives us a place to whine on days when we just need someone to listen.
