Am I crazy?

My mother died of breast cancer back in 1998.

Now my cousin on my mother's side has been diagnosed with stage 2, breast cancer.

And well, I'm an unemployed ex-financial analyst.

For a while now I have been considering retraining in the health field, but with this turn of events, I am debating doing cancer epidemiology cause well.. the thesis question is really.

Do I have a ticking timebomb in my chest?

Mother died at 56, cousin is 38. Mother diagnosed at 51.

This just doesn't make sense.. the must be a reason, cause.. 

Am I being silly?
