I do not know if anyone had or have just worries the night between going out to get the PET scan done and then the wait which is like three hrs.    Or maybe I am just stressing over nothing

All tests are stressful and the waiting for the report is definitely maddening.  When I find myself stressing out I force myself to think of something else. Something that I like to do -dream of a vacation, planning a party, designing a house.  Cleaning, working in the yard, dance!
