c flap nipple reconstruction

I am having this procedure done this coming Friday.  It has been 3 years and finally the icing on the cake.  I talked to the nurse and asked if there were going to be additional scars?  She said yes, I have tried to find pic online but can't.  What scars is she talking about, I don't want anymore scars?  Can anyone help me to understand this?

    If your ps is doing the c-v method, the scar is a small horizontal scar that bisects the reconstructed nipple. I had mine done last May, and the small scar on one side is aready white...the other one is still a little pink. When they are both white, I think I will get my areaolas tattooed. I'm just waiting to decide if I might want something more decorative ;-). Either way, the tattooing will cover the scars pretty well.
