Beware of allergic reaction to Taxol

I'm having the same issue. I've had 3 taxol + herceptin treatments. For the 1st two, I had a little allergic reaction, throat tightening, tongue & throat allergic that a couple hours after infusion that a benedryl pill seemed to resolve. But, the first time, I had heart palpitations/pain 2 days after infusion and chest tightness that day and the next day, so called the on-call oncologist who said I should go to the ER. My heart checked out ok in the ER. For treatment #2, my oncologist increased my decadron during infusion and gave me decadron prescription to take day after. My heart raced the night of infusion and next couple days with some tightness/pain. Not as bad as the first time. For #3, my oncologist said we would need to keep a close watch on my symptoms and I now am trying decadron and benedryl the day before and after also. 3 days after, getting some heart racing and heart soreness.
