Radiation during chemotherapy?

Does anyone know if it's possible to do radiation during chemotherapy?  I'm finished with AC+T and am doing carboplatin now and am worried about delaying radiation for so long.  I'm trying to convince the radiation oncologist to start radiation before the end of chemo or right after, instead of waiting 3-4 weeks which would then get pushed out to 7 weeks after because of my schedule.  I'd be starting radiation over 10 months after I was diagnosed.  I've heard some people do this, just not with AC.
