Hello Ladies,

Just yesterday & today, I've noticed a pain in my left arm.  It would be the underside of my arm and over to where my breast used to be.  It's not like "pains"  the only way to describe it would be, you know when you have the flu and you just ache all over?  It's like that only where my lymphedema is worst.  There's no redness or spots or even more swelling than usual.  I just feel like crap!  Do you think this is something worth calling the doctor over?  I just want to go back to bed and cover my head and sleep Smile        Any advice????

Marie

     Marie,

Please call the doctor: it's the fact that you "feel like crap" that worries me that this could be cellulitis, and better safe than sorry.

No one wants to go to see the doctor when they're not feeling well, but this worries me: take your temperature and this could just be the pain of truncal lymphedema, but better to be safe.

Marie, please don't go back to bed just yetSurprised. Hop on over to whatever doctor will see you today, or head to the ER and say words like "lymphedema" and "cellulitis" to them -- over and over if necessary. If it's cellulitis you want to catch it NOW, not wait until it's red and raging.

And keep us posted! Thinking of you!
