CMF Chemotherapy

Next Wednesday is my first CMF IV treatment and am concerned about side effects after reading the literature provided -- it sounds terrible!  I will have 8 treatments, 3 weeks apart for 6 months.

Hi golfergrandma!  I completed CMF last June and can tell you it really was not that bad.  Of course when you read the possible side effects in their literature it sounds dreadful, but it is SO manageable.  I would suggest going to the following thread which is all about CMF, has been running for years, with lots of ladies who have taken it.  They were so very helpful and supportive when I took CMF.  We will help you with any and all questions.  The forum and thread is Forum: Help Me Get Through Treatment → Topic: CMF Question .  I think if you type CMF Question in the search box, you will find it.  Best of luck as you start your treatments!

The SE's I get from the neulasta shot include abdominal pain, bloody diarrhea, severe back spasms a week after shot and some bone pain the next day.  Am pretty miserable for a week after the shot.  What are your SE's?
