Whoo hoo, will be able to make it! Wasn't sure with all the treatments, finances, and other events - but there ain't nothing more important to beings with the sista's! ALL the Phoenix ladies - get ready for hugs. Ya hoo, have hair AND foobies this year, and am going to weasel out of one chemo so I feel like partying until the cows come home. Staying at The Orleans. Will have a Dodge Ram that holds six comfortably. See you all soon - please put us on the list.

Sherry it will be so nice to see you. So glad you can make it! We will have to catch up. I will have chemo on Wednesday then will head out on Friday. I should be okay it will be my first chemo from having  a week off. it is when it accumulates when it is bad for me. My blood count is really low this time so they could not do chemo. My wbc is .9 so my Dr said to watch out for fevers and go to  the hospital right away. She wanted me to come in next week for chemo but will be up in Greer AZ in a cabin up North. Looking forward to getting away and no talk of cancer that is the deal. Look forward to seeing  you!

Laura, I pm'd you about your question, and by the way thank you for volunteering to get the count.  To all the sisters, we need the final count this week so we can make sure we reserve spots for the activities that we are going to do together.  If you have not, please please send your response to Laura.

Lilah, We are not sure yet where we are going to go Friday night but LaScena is a very good possibility.  Anniese has very gracefully volunteered to help.  If that does not work out hopefully it will be somewhere in that area.

I just spoke with Clare-she is holding her own, will find out Wednesday if she needs chemo., keep those Prayers a coming. Still doens't know if she will make it to Vegas.....

Sadly which brings me to the next topic...I won't be able to go to Vegas now!!  Just saw the new surgeon & due to my history & "HOLSTIC" belly-she won't even touch me here. I have to go back to Portland to OHSU & see the surgeon who performed surgery on me 2 years ago. This procedure to remove my gall bladder & deal with the gall stones would have to be as a OPEN SURGERY due to my mesh & other infection's along with the medical history. I'm on a ASAP list to get seen & keep an eye out for anychanges along with some new pain meds & try to help with the acid reflex. Sista's, I'm so very sorry I won't be able to see all of you, but will keep you all posted & continue the countdown to a wonderful gathering of supreme ladies!!!! 

34 days till VEGAS  WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Susie -- that sucks that you have to have open surgery.  Can you get another opinion on that?  I should link laporascopic (sp?) surgery would be safer from the POV of healing issues.  And of course really sorry you won't be coming this year.  Can't believe it's only 34 days away.  My summer has been a whirlwind (now punctuated by the whirlwind that is aka Hurricane Irene).

Susie, 100% what Lilah said! We of course are not doctors, but you combine all the hours the TaTa sisters have been in the OR and we should collectively be a top notch one! Get a second and a third before you let anyone put you back on the table for an open surgery! I am so sorry that you are facing this and the timing just sucks.

Lilah, we are watching Irene and pray she turns back out to sea before doing any more damage. I know you are getting prepared- stay safe!
