Onc. prescribed vinorelbine and cisplatin chemo.  Anyone do either one of these drugs or this combination before? What kind of side effects can I expect and when?

Thanks :)

    NannaBaby....

I had cisplatin with a different combo....however I have read that the combo you are getting might be a better combo....read it after I got mine.
Cisplatin is a tough chemo on your body.....you need to drink a lot of water and make sure it doesn't sit in your kidneys.
Don't let me scare you......I think cisplatin is going to be the next "it" drug for breast cancer.  My oncologist who is brilliant was one of the first to use in breast cancer.  I had an 8cm tumor with 17 nodes.....I attribute it to my successful treatment.

    Hang in there.
