Yes, here I am, I'm in the same situation you're in.  I'm stage IIIc & 34 yrs old, with not only a 2 yr old but a 4 yr old as well.  And I was scared to death at dx but I finished chemo and just did a BMX last week.  It does get better, you deal with it as it comes, each day at a time. Good luck & I'm here if you need me.

    Hey Tommilyn:
Don't forget to check out the "Success Stories" thread under the "Inspiring Stories".

I read these to keep me going when I was down.  You need to hear of women who are living and doing well years and years, decades out.

Here's one, my bank teller, diagnosed with 27 nodes, just past her 5 year mark.  She's funky and she looks amazing.

    You can do it!

    Keep us posted,

    Christine

    Dear tommilyn

I think you should be so thankful that you got it just in right time. It could be worse. At least you can make yourself belive that you are so lucky for cut it just in time. As others said, your little 2 yearold should be a motive for you. She/he needs you soooooooo much. So you should think of her/him every time you start to get depressed and bad thoughts come to you. I belive in positive thoughts. Everyday you get up in the morning first of all you should repeat some positive sentences and not just repeat belive it too.I'm a daughter of a BC patient. I need my mom soooo much. I can't emagine a day without her. So yours feels the same. Belive in GOD and his generosity. Know that if you want something from the bottom of your heart GOD WILL GIVE YOU THAT and it could be your cure. Huggs to you

Hey, during my chemo sessions I have been sitting next to women who were diagnosed at stage 4 who are nine years out from diagnosis!  The strides that they are making today are incredible and we are going to be alive for a long time!
