    I'll tell you what's going into the fire today.... "Do Over" days.  I know they made a movie out of it...but geez......Yesterday VR started with a plumbing problem...Nope...wasn't THAT lucky to have those two gorgeous plumbers from THAT commercial come and ring MY door bell.  No sireee....Mr. VR was ready, willing and able to fix the leak.  Only problem was that VR had to go get the parts...Sure wouldn't that have been easy to just head down to the local Home Depot or plumbing supply store????....But NOOOOO...VR had to drive a half an hour to find the part.  Mr.VR called ahead.  But of course, when VR got there...the WRONG part was in the box....  "Try so and so...," says the plumbing guy who looks NOTHING like those two gorgeous double impact plumbers....come to think of it....none of the plumbers waiting in line for parts looked ANYTHING like those liquid plumr plumbers....But, VR couldn't get to the OTHER plumbing supply store before closing yesterday BECAUSE it was an HOUR away......

    So this morning, VR hopped in the car and went for an adventure....Sure enough, she found the place and the part and a really nice plumbing guy...but still couldn't find ANY plumber lookin' like those two guys.....

    So today...VR throw into the fire "do over" days...I'm just glad I don't have many of them...and thankfully...not a few days like them, in a row....  Leak is fixed...now VR just dreams of a clogged drain....

    Did I ever!!! Remind me one day to tell you about the DH's beloved sister... Better yet...i'd invite her down to the bonfires and then reverse Jo's sign... Only by accident, you know... And when she realizes which road she's on...it will be too late! ;)

    Granny... So nice of you to offer to direct traffic... There's only one small problem... SHE's from Brooklyn too! We might have to tell her we're going get a slice of pizza at Spumoni Gardens... and then head over to the fork at 86th Street and Stillwell Avenue.... Come to think of it... There is a nice ELEVATED train stop near there too... Hmmmmmm......Could get very interesting....

    Confession time... When I was diagnosed, the DH and I agreed we would only tell a few people. I realize if you tell a few people it is pretty much the same as telling the whole world. But I never wanted the DH's sister to know because I didn't want her pity...nor her to take pleasure.... So far, I just passed my two year anniversary and as far as I know not a single person in the DH's family knows...including her! I am so relieved that I only told a few people. I feel empowered knowing she doesn't know...

    OK VR---I used to live around the corner from Spumoni Gardens.....I know the owners...you get her there and between the 2 of us we can do some serious damage.I know lots and lots of people who still live around there...WE CAN DO THIS!!!!!!!

    Then we can stroll down the old neighborhood,get on that elevated train,go to Coney Island to bury her ashes...what do you think?????

    for a couple of hundred bucks we can take her out gangland style...I like that better.ha.

    Nah! I would rather just enjoy lunch with you Granny! Afterwards we could take that walk on the boardwalk and enjoy the ocean breeze! I am sooooo over her! Really I am! She can't hurt me anymore because in my mind she is only a memory... Haven't spoken a single word to her in twenty years and I have to say it's a pleasure. And the DH... He barely speaks to her! I have to remind him to call her! You know what's going into the bonfire tonight? WORDS! I remember some of the things she said to me and I think the best revenge is to say nothing! So I am taking all those nasty words she said to me and all the words I refused to say back to her and throwing them on the fire! Now I feel better! So let's get that slice of pizza, now, Granny because I am hungry!

    Do any of the sisters feet hurt?  I'll take you all to the best shoe store on the planet....Eneslow Shoes on 32nd Street and Park Avenue South....I'm telling you...tourists buy out the store!!!  Best kept secret in New York!  Put that on your list of things to do!!!

    Oh...and Badger....we buy our pizza by the slice...like this!  Notice, under the elevated train!
