make some room by the fire.i just got off a thread that is hot hot hot and i think they will be heading this way......STAY AWAY FROM THE FIRE THE TEMPERS ARE FLYIN AND THE SHIT HIT THE FAN......BACK UP.
-
Grannydukes...I have my camera ready!!!
-
You guys are so funny! Thanks for doing this bonfire.
-
you can thank JO JO for this thread.....ready!action!where is that camera???????
-
OMG! What a fantastic idea. Just gathered all the stuff I thought I needed for chemo and didn't touch. Gathered up the chemo/BC/rad flyer's and everything else that haunts me.
Watching it all go up in smoke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jules
-
Hey Jules... I bet you're feeling better!
Grannydukes....I'm holding that camera with my good shoulder! Now..SMILE everyone!

-
I think the fire will support SMORES, and I need the chocolate!
-
granny- I am intrigued...can't wait to find out what happens!
-
what happened exactly? why are there others who are going to come to this thread and antagonize us?
-
Hdangelbaby... Nah! Just a lot of gals that have had hurtful things said to them that needs purging. We got a lot of sisters that need to put stuff on the flames so they can feel better. We told them where to find the bonfire. Hopefully, they will find the trail to our thread.
-
Hi all!!!! I just wanna throw in the so called medical professionals who say one thing that you should do to reduce your risk, then turn around and abit later say o no thats not it, do this instead. Also the one who for years told you to do these very thing, get cancer, then deceide o I now know how to really treat this and how you can prevent it. All because I am a survivor now. All you are doing is trying to suck even more money from peolpe, well into the fire you go. But first let me roast some marshmellows cause Im afraid you'll make mine taste bitter. I want to enjoy them not be afraid of them.
-
Paula... You just reminded me.. Those treatment guidelines... The holy grail? Or are they? I asked my doctor about following the NCCN guidelines and he said he was more interested in basing my treatment on the Oncotype Dx test than the guidelines. Hmmmm... Okay. But why have guidelines if you're not going to follow them? So I guess into the fire goes.... The guidelines for treating BC. I am also going to throw in the cholesterol guidelines too. Could so many people actually need to be on cholesterol meds too?
-
ahhh voracious....the dreaded NCCN guidelines so many oncs do not think are so important...and then on the other hand...the ONCO DX- based on a whopping 651 patients...this ticks me even though I had a low score...hell, there are more than 651 people on here at any given time....into the fire all of it goes....(not the people- the mishmash of tests suggestions ideas guesses theories...
-
into the fire goes:
the people who say sugar causes cancer
the people who send countless chain emails and texts (like sending something to 10 people will cure cancer!)
the people who always ask "how did you GET cancer?" ( i must have CAUGHT it somehow, duh?)
-
Hey Ladies, was advised to go on cancermath.com just to see what my outcome would be with or without treatment....................Now I am 76 years old, so thought it would be interesting since I'm not that thrilled about Rads, or Femara.......I was shocked at what I saw.........the %'s between treatment, and no treatment were amazing............I am probably going to do this "shit" that they are telling me is "like buying insurance", but I'm thinking to myself.................who the hell really knows what they are talking about..............I am so friggin fed up with the suggestions, advice, and all the other bullsh-t that they tell you.............But then deep down inside, you say "do I take the chance, and not bother"...................Yea that's great until you find out a few years later that you made a real bad decision................All I want is someone to shoot straight with me, but then "am I not asking them to play God", so you can't blame them for taking the "safe road"............
So ladies look on that website.....it is an eye opening way of see what your chances are with a lot of choices dealing with cancer......Its cancermath.com
-
Voracious, I feel so much better. My shoulders have been aching for quite a while. Now a weight has been lifted.
Plus had a few drinks last night and saw a Burlesque group perform in our local city. OMG! A Blast.
Ducky1, going to check out website. May it knows more than my Dr.s?
Jules
-
ducky, i went there, but don't see a link to get the estimation.
where do you go?
-
Jules! You see how magical that bonfire is!!??? I am sure the drinks didn't hurt either! Glad you feel the weight lifting!
-
Went to Breat Cancer, then it is all right there...............click on therapies, and a variety of other things about BC
-
That fire was blazing last night. Saw it all the way here to Texas. wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
voracious and annettek: I love that you brought up NCCN. I'm dealing with this idiot resident Gyn and I've actually asked her if she's reviewed any guidelines for OC dx. She kept ignoring me. Finally after and email from me, she called me, and then started quoting NCCN...so I printed the ones I was trying to get her to pay attention to...just for the next appointment. Honestly she thought her degree gave her more training than it has. I can't wait to get that signed referral from her! Into the fire go the stupid know it all residents, that really know nothing!
-
I was playin cards last night and all of a sudden i hear like a firecracker goin off.gosh i got sooo scared..i hope you girls stayed back...did anyone get any pictures?
Im goin there in my minds eye right now....the flames are dying down in new jersey....do you think we should give it some time to settle down or start burning again??????
I have a new person to put in the fire.shall i put him in now?
-
Roast him and Toast Him Grannydukes!
-
Can I throw in the empty thread problem that has plaguing this site for the past several days? Several of my favorite topics are just plain blank. When I click into them, all of the posts are invisible. When I submit a post, it just disappears. Like the Bermuda Triangle of BCO. Weird, random & annoying.
-
Ok I wanna throw in a chick that I know who cost me a few days wages because of her mystery illiness she seems to have. Give me a break drag your ass to work just like we all do and stop making faking. Then to really make it look good you come in the next day and and act like your stll on deaths door. So I have to go home. GRRRRRRR, I work on an hr wage so that eats into my pay. Im not like you and are on salary. Woman up or this is the last time or I'm gonna toss ya in.
-
Paula - Sounds like you need to throw her butt in anyway - what a whiner.
-
ok.here goes Andy...he is stalkin me on facebook.he is an old friend that i dont want to be bothered with.he has caused my family a lot of grief and is tryin to be my friend and the more i ignore him the more he bothers me....I have enuf drama in my life without his crap.sooooooooo Andy go to hell and burn....leave us alone...He is a goodlookin dude so you might notice him lurkin...evil man.head first in you go.....now i feel better.
-
I want to throw in the empty threads too, I am gettting cranky without my 'humor and games'!!
-
Bummer - I was so hoping the moderators had fixed the problem for you gals.
-
Mods say it's more than just the games threads, and they're working on it.
Windy & cold here today so I'm gonna make some chocolate chip cookies (oven =

) to make the house warm and cozy and smelling awesome.Vanilla is a calming happy scent.....
