Ortho Evra Patch

Did any of you ladies take the Ortho Evra Patch that was out a while back? The model that was discontinued for having 60% more estrogen than was labeled and then removed from the market?

My lump showed up shortly after using that patch for almost a year. I'm thinking there's got to be something going on there because my tumor is ER+.

I used Ortho Evra for about 2 years, from 2006-2007. I don't know if it contributed to my BC. I am ER negative and PR positive.

That's pretty much the same timeframe I used it.

What about depo-provera shot? Im not sure if doctors still prescribe it. I stopped taking it about 8 years ago. Apparently it increases the risk of bc but i cant find any recent stdies on it.

Yes! I think this is why I have breast cancer now. I was on the patch for 5 yrs. then got off and had my son, got right back on it and 4 months later I found the lump. I'm going through chemo, Herceptin and then I will have to do tamoxifen but I'm only 30, I don't want to be put into menopause so I'm trying to figure out what caused this.
