My MIL

I just wanted to tell you all that my MIL has died. She was 88 and died of pneumonia. Over 50 years ago she had BC and had  a radical mastectomy (a butcher's job) and 2 weeks in the 'radium instiute'. They didn't tell you then what stage or grade you were. She was my hero.

She never thought of BC as more than the flu.  Never thought about it until my DX.

RIP.
