Has anyone else heard of this method?  We can help this project along ... share this information.

Sometimes our health systems gets stuck in the muck of misguided interests.  Our hope is to see cancer of every type become a manageable chronic disease.  The first step to that goal is early and accurate diagnosis.  The alternative Dr. Rhodes is presenting seems like a viable step in the right direction from the patient's perspective.  Now if the markets can keep a lid on the profit side of the equation, this presentation has merit.

Happy New Year everyone.
Best wishes to all as always,
Marilyn

Yes,my mammogram missed it two months before I was diagnosed and again three days before my biopsy, after I could feel the 3-cm lump. I first learned about dense breasts and mammograms (even digitals are poor tools for us) when I asked the surgeon, why didn't the mammorgrams pick it up? So real important to push your insurance company for an MRI once you've had bc. My insurance company only pays for one or two MRIs, then it's back to mammograms for me, even though I'm at very  high risk for recurrence - and it's an aggressive  cancer. But the good news for us ladies is that our breasts tend to become less dense as we get older. Something good to be said about aging :)

Anyway, I wanted to ask you all if you would check out my website, www.1UpOnCancer.com. Lots of upbeat stuff on the Home Page, there's a Breast Cancer Page, Anti-Cancer Recipes/Nutrition, and other things.

I'll check in to "chat" later. I hope you enjoy the rest of the week. Rachel
