Just for fun, does anybody know where Ted Cruz was born?
-
Oh and the formatting here has just gone all wonky or is it just my computer?
-
Vancouver! To a Cuban father and American mother! Not a "natural-born citizen," one could argue.
Heh. -
Ted Cruz was born in Calgary, Alberta, CANADA. His mother was born in the U.S. and his father in Cuba (and actually fought alongside Castro in the Revolution -- OMG, Teddy's daddy was a C.O.M.M.U.N.I.S.T.!) The family moved to the U.S. when Teddy was 4.
So........will we have some CarnivalCruz-type birthirism? Ah, probably not.
-
Oh, sorry - I slandered Vancouver. My apologies to BC, and my sincere sympathies to Alberta!
-
-
Oh, the ironies!

I know that I know nothing! Some people should really think about that statement! hahahahaha!

Blue, I couldn't agree more. These rt. dingnuts are depressing in their inability to see what they do to other people which ultimately is going to be their personal un-doing. How many times do you have to drown to know your dead.

Hey, presidentin' is HARD!
-
AND, I'll say it again.......Hodor!
-
"Presidentin'"I swear to God, Obama can't catch a break. He can't take time off without getting crap for it. Even though YorkieMom's meme pointed out that he's taken less vacations than Bush, it doesn't matter. He can't win. He could cure cancer,
and they'll still find something wrong with that.I'm going to go on YouTube and watch videos on reactions when he won again. The cheering was electrifying!

I saw that earlier today, Alexandria. That guy's picture is in the dictionary illustrating the definition of a-hole. He is a physician, had numerous affairs with patients, pressured his girlfriend to have an abortion and, IIRC, pressured his wife to have one too. But he's "pro-life" like most regressives ... Pro-his-life and screw everybody else. What is funny/sad/pathetic/sickening is to see people try to defend this pile of feces. They will just focus on the immigration part (and give him applause for being nasty to a little girl).
-
What he did to that little girl is heartless. He certainly has a sense of entitlement, himself. I've heard about his own personal issues with women - must have a god complex.
I was just looking at the healthcare.gov website. Anyone that qualifies for Medicaid, can't get health insurance, or afford it, should check it out. Obamacare comes October 1. California has already posted some plans and costs and each state (that is participating) should have a link to the plans offered. I think more detailed information will be available October 1. Here is the California calculator: http://www.coveredca.com/calculating_the_cost.html All good news (given we had to go with this GOP model in lieu of Single Payer)!
