Blue - are those lawn ornaments?
-
E - are you building an ark? Tornado in Colesville. YIKES. Hope you and Samson & the not boyfriend are all safe.
Even if they ARE lawn ornaments, I'm still gonna feed them fish.
-
No ark here, but we had several tornadoes dancing around the state. Nothing, NOTHING, like our friends in other states but enough to cause a tizzy in weather-paranoid Maryland. All of us are safe except for the storm door.

Speaking of arks, from the sound of it we are due for a lot more rain over the week-end. I try not to complain as we had so little at the beginning of last summer and went on to endure a drought. I don't like the warmth with lots of humidity that may stay behind after the rain.
I think we will be working to replace my floor tiles in my half bath, along with the toilet stool this week-end and coming week. Always some project needing doing around here. This past week-end we did the two day project of cleaning out my 12 by 14 Amish built shed ( means mainly it has a loft to it ) and now you can dance on the bottom floor......whereas immediately preceding the clean-out...you couldn't walk through the door. Sigh !!!!We are shed slobs for sure. Four car garage is next...better set aside a lot of time for that one and plenty of pocket change for pegboard. There are a lot of tools in there.

Hi Everyone,
Happy Friday!
OMG .. that storm yesterday afternoon scared me to pieces. I almost ran to the basement without having to be told to seek shelter! The wind was fierce and I have a couple of very large oak limbs down. I hope everyone was safe. A tornado touched down very close to where Tim is in Georgia .. scared him too!
Blue ... love the lawn art!
Enjoyful ... want a full report later today about your day's adventures. Would love to see a picture of you in that new dress.
Blue ... love the picture of the little red-haired girl. My sis and I are natural redheads ... that's what we looked like when we were little.
hugs to all,
Bren

The bar mitzvah is tomorrow; today is just a travel day. I will be back on Sunday, hopefully with photos.
I've decided I don't like Tykerb. The fatigue and nausea is settling in and my hair is falling out by handfuls. I guess I should shave my head. Again.
*sad face*
-
Enjoyful ... I am so sorry the Tykerb is kicking your butt. Is it an oral chemo like Xeloda? I wish your hair wasn't falling out. I had hoped that wouldn't be a side effect with this medication. Are they giving you anything for the fatigue and nausea? A little Ritalin might really help. Doctors can be so selfish about prescribing medications that would really help us.
I hope you're feeling better for tomorrow's bar mitzvah ... safe travels.
love,
Bren

E -- I was looking over the S/Es of Tykerb and hair loss wasn't one of them. Are you on another drug too (I can't remember sh*t these days
).In case you can't see it, this is a Thomas Paine quote. I agree with it.
-
Linda, Love it.
-
Carrots ... I think Enjoyful might also be taking Femara. I'm not sure. I was surprised that hair loss could result from Tykerb. I thought it was more like Xeloda. I also think she's on IV Zometa.
hugs,
Bren
