Hi All,

First time on this website, I had a double mastectomy June 20th of 2008 at the age of 33, for multiple pre-cancerous cells. I did not do any reconstruction and I most likely will never do.  I have had lower back pain before but since the surgery my back has gotten worse. I will be seeing a chriporactor sometime this week to see if he can help.

Have any of you had this problem before and what are the best decision. Also I have scar swelling under my armpit what can I do to for that.

Same here lower back pain and some neck pain.  The Chiroproactor took xrays and my back and neck where out of wack, had my first appt. today my back and neck feel alot better.   I have several appts the next four weeks to get everything corrected, with the blessing of my ONC, the chirporactor will be keeping her in the loop on all my treatments.

HI,I too have back pain, hip pain and si joint pain due to some herniated discs and degeneration.  I received epidural shots and SI join injections by my neruologist.  The shots really help and I am about 95% pain free now.  You may want to talk with your doctor about that type of treatment. Good luck, I hope you feel better.  Feel free to send me a PM if I can give you more details.  BTW, I am 45 - young to me. Not sure of the age range for this forum.
