extremely worried daughter - please help!

Options

Hello.  We received news of my mother's biopsy report yesterday.  She is a 64 year old post-menopausal woman.  We are not entirely sure of the stage of cancer.  It is a 20mm lump on her right breast.  There are 6 axillary lymph nodes affected on the right side.  It is grade 3, invasive ductal carcinoma and oestrogen receptor positive.  I would be really grateful if someone knew how to accurately predict outlook and prognosis in this case. Thanks.

    Hi,

Sorry to hear your mom has breast cancer, but don't panic it is treatable. There are many women here who are doing well.  There are a variety of treatments available and there is a wealth of information here on this sight.  So hang in there.  NJ

Hello worried, sorry that your mom has been diagnosed with BC, like norma said it is treatable, not always easy but very doable. Being er positive means she can take a 5 year pill after treatments which some who are not arn't able to take the 5 yr pill so that is in her favor, you will find lots of support and information here so im glad you found us, please keep us posted

    Warm Hugs- Debbie
