What Would You Like Your New Year to Look Like?
With the new year around the corner, if you had the power to make your vision of a great year happen, what would you want your new year to be: personal, local, global.

Me? I would like to see my house decluttered. I'm learning to let go of things I hang on to. My vision is a house that I can invite my sewing group to without fear.
Local: I would like to see the food lines shorter and more people well fed.
Global: I would like to see the troops come home from both Iraq and Afghanistan. I would envision more kindness.

Hi LavendarNLace, Happy Holidays to you and everyone BCO!
I am looking forward to 2011!
Personally, I am looking foward to a new year of daily exercise and eating well (less sugar). I also want to explore my artistic side.
On a local level I want to support others in my different circles with companionship and any assistance I can give in times of need. I will continue the prayer shawl ministry I started at church. More love, less consumerism!
On a global level I would like to see more conservation and sharing of the earth's resources.
Peace and joy,
Cat

Personally, I would like to be content.
Locally, I hope the new Walmart to open in January in our little town doesn't close the locally owned businesses.
Globally, Dona Noblis Pacem. And no hunger.

I want to lose weight, seriously. My knees are starting to be affected by arthritis and I know losing 5 pounds is like 50 on my knees or some such stat.
I would like to get my craft room sorted and set up so I can heal my soul.
World peace and love to all. That should cover local and global!

I'd like to feel less tired and really energized and passionate about something in my church or community. Personally, I'm moving so it's a good time to sort, reflect and down size.
Globally, I want to be conscious of the pain and struggles out there in the 3rd world, especially war and dispacement, sex trafficing, economic struggles that somehow are linked to our materialsm and consumerism in this hemisphere. I'd like to join hands and hearts to pray and work and give voice to the injustices.

Full of rosy-cheeked good health; full of energy; taking my Pilates and climbing up a notch; more givng back to the community--whether it's local or political or global; to decrease the toxic aspects of my life.
To be happy with what I have.
Anne
