Get armpits lazored?

I checked back a dozen or so pages but didn't find this topic. Have any of you gals had your armpit hair removed by lazor?  I asked my oncologist and he said "yes" but the junior doctor in the room with him said "no". I am 5 years out from my mastectomy and nodes removal; I have not had lymphedema and I lift weights.  I have had at least half a dozen infected hairs in my arm pit (which I refer to as a "pit in a pit") because it's such a wierd angled pit now. One of the infected hairs ended in a trip to the doc because of nasty infection and fortunately no other problems. Since chemo I don't have as much growth there as I used to, so it seems like a good way to go.
