under arm pink square..radiation?

I have noticed a pinkish spot on the skin under my arm on the tail of the breast for a long time...radiated in October of 06. Yesterday I noticed that the spot is kind of square...no kidding....straight edges on top and sides. It is kind of the shape of the opening that the full breast radiation opening looked like. The radiation techs changed the shape for every patient....like a lead plate with an opening over the beam area.
Is this radiation recall? I don't even know what that is. Has any of you noticed a pinkish area that stays in the same place for years? I have never thought to bring this up with my Onc. I also have sore ribs that I am sure is from radiation.
