    Joanne,

I know it's hard not to freak out.  We've all been where you are.  Honestly, I've had a lot of times like this where I thought for sure something was going on and I was wrong.  I hope you are too. I've heard that the best thing to do is follow the two week rule.  If it is still bothering you after two weeks, call your Oncologist and get it checked out.  Many Oncologists don't follow tumor markers.  They aren't usually accurate.

    Many Hugs

    Hi Joanne,

When it's spread to the liver it often doesn't feel like anything at all.  Or, it could feel like you're wearing a belt too tight - like a dull pressure.  There can be little, sharp twinges once in a while.

It also could be non-cancerous -- such as gall bladder problems, digestive problems, other things I can't think of at the moment.

The PET scan you have coming up will let you know.  if you haven't already, let your onc know your concerns.  Please, please assume it's nothing to worry about.  That you're fine, OK?  Many times I've read women worrying about this and it turns out to be nothing at all.  Hugs,

    Elizabeth

I have just returned from doctor visit for the same reason.  I am booking a US but so far the doctor is leaning towards gallbladder.  Hope so!

Let us know how you are doing?

My friend had liver mets with no symptoms at all for months and then just a swollen tummy, your pain does'nt sound like mets and I'm sure it'll be something less serious:)
