hi ladies
was not a good day yesterday. Found out I have cysts on both my ovaries and fluid in my stomach. I had noticed it being a bit bigger over the last week but didn't think it was anything like this. Had to go to hospital yesterday as I had a excruciating pain in my stomach just come on as I was driving. Had ultrasound and x-ray. I'm scared they will need to take both of them out.
-
Oh dear, Melp. How frustrating and annoying!.Bugger! It is bad enough having to go through all the cancer treatment and then to have all these other things on top as well. I hope that they can fix it and that you get to keep your ovaries, but you need to be pain free and comfortable as well. It is also about quality of life . (hugs) xxxxx
-
Hi melp, I'm very sorry to hear about your new health concerns. Praying it can be easily resolved.
-
Melp (((hugs)))
-
I'm in hospital again. Could not keep food down this morning or any tablet. Waiting on ct results to know the full picture.
-
Melp, thanks for keeping us up to date, we're there with you in spirit.
-
I hope that it is nothing serious, Melp. thinking of you and please let us know when you get your results. (((hugs))) xxxxx
-
Oh Mel you poor dear. You are at least in the right place to find out what's going on and hopefully that will be soon. Keeping my fingers crossed that it won't be as bad as you are thinking.
Love n hugs. Chrissy

had the results a few hours ago. The masses in my ovaries are cancerous they are pretty much 95% sure they will do a biopsy. I will know by Wednesday what the plan is. I have lots of acities fluid in my belly also. They are suggesting I have everything taken. I am f*cken annoyed, angry, depressed, bawling. I feel like I won't be a woman and able to enjoy everything that I haven't done yet at my age.... Like get married.
-
oh dear, Melp, sorry to hear this bad news. Is this a different cancer? or has your breast cancer spread? Dang!!!!!! Praying for a miracle. (((hugs))) xxxxx
-
Dear melp, I'm really sorry to hear this and can understand how distressed you would be
Please make sure you are in the best hands as far as your doctors go.
I'll write again later. I've been praying for you on the weekend and will continue.
-

Oh shit Mel!! Go right ahead and let out all that frustration and rage. What hospital are you in? I'm in the city at the moment and if you would like I can pop in to give you the hugs that you need and chat a while.
Hoping you get all information soon as well as a full treatment plan.
Love n hugs. Chrissy
-
mel, we are all here for you. Do you have supportive family and friends?
I know the lows and highs you have been through recently and you were just starting to feel it was all behind you.
Can you get psychological or spiritual support through the hospital? If so, please try it.
We will help as much as we can. Praying for you.
-
Mel, so sorry to hear your news. It just isn't fair and I hope that you have close support who can help you cope over the coming days of uncertainty. I too am praying for you and while we are distant in location, we are absolutely there with you in spirit.
We are all wonderful women mate and nothing will ever detract from your femininity. Please don't ever feel less of a woman because of what you've been through and are going through. Whether we have one breast, no breasts or reconstructed breasts, whether we have our ovaries or not, we are all beautiful women with big hearts and loving souls. Any man in your future will be bloody lucky to have you in his life and will know it, no matter what the coming days brings.
Sending love, hugs and prayers.

Hi all
Mel sorry to hear your news, I agree with Racy to try and get some sort of support in hospital.
The last week or so I have had bad pain in my lower left side stomach and it's got worse. Luckily I am going to the Doctor tomorrow. It may be a bit of constipation that I had last year but reading your post before Mel and now has made me a bit scared that I may have a cyst or something.
I had a real bad migrane last week and went to my GP on Friday, while their I told him about the arthritis in my fingers and had a blood test and xrays. I will get the results tomorrow.
It seems that a few of us aren't having the best of luck just lately.
Best wishes to all (especially Mel)
Carol
