chinese women do get breast cancer.  There is a reported, lower amount of breast cancer but there is statistical questions as to the accuracy of the reports because of the cultural differences.

I am lactose intolerant and hadn't had dairy in over 10 years.  I couldn't even take lactaid pill, as it would still upset my system.  I was diagnosed after not having had dairy in over 10 years.  Strangely enough, something happened during chemo and I can now eat white cheeses if I take a lactaid pill.

I don't think dairy is the cause for breast cancer, if it were that simple none of us would be here right now.

I have read some interesting studies about soy--the controversy about whether it's protective or not against breast cancer is from the lower incidence in Asian countries--but they eat a different type of soy product--one that if fermented, whereas in the U.S. most of our soy products are not fermented which may boost estrogen levels. Just my 2cents. VJ

I had so little dairy in my life  it's not funny.  Never even drank milk as  a kid as they said I was " allergic"  ( Guessing I was lactose intolerant).,  I have broken 3 bones and have osteopenia.

Unfortunately, I now must increase my dairy intake due to bad news on CA supplements as well as my bad bones.  Not the best time to do so, but...  the catch 22's of BC.

In any case , I can say that dairy did NOT cause *my* breast cancer.
