need advice

Hi All,

It's been awhile since I have visited this site, but I need your advice again.  I had a BFF who died of BC in Jan.  She left behind an ex-husband and 2 teenage girls.  The holidays are coming.  I'm having a hard time coping and I know the girls must be too although they don't talk much about it and I don't pry.  This question seems so trivial but I can't decide whether the gifts I get them for Christmas should be memorable of their mother or if I should try and keep the gifts light.  My BFF didn't have a sister and her mother died from CA 5 years before my BFF.  Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated along with any ideas.

If you are friendly with them you may want to ask what they would like for Christmas and fulfill one of their wishes.
