It Stays! For wigs, prosthesis, thigh high stockings... :)

I am halfway through chemo and my hair hasn't completely fallen out; I have fuzzy baby chick hair.  It makes the wig issues harder because of the soft layer that doesn't have much friction.  So it's been an issue.

Since it's over the knee sock and thigh-hi stocking weather (I loathe panty hose and tights) I got out my old standby ""it stays!" and remembered that the bottle said it was for stockings, etc and WIGS.

So I got it out, used the roll-on bottle to cover my head lightly, slapped on a wig and wore it for a 9 hour day at the hospital, in a snow storm with high winds. And - it stays!  Seriously, it lasted through high winds, me falling asleep curled up in the chemo chair, taking my hat on and off and a long day.  The best part is that it is water soluble and it *kept my wig from itching even with no cap*.  Of course in the summer it may be a different story.

It works to keep the neckline put on a low cut dress, keep the bra strap and shirt/dresses in line, stick wigs, keeps up socks and stockings and says that it works for prosthesis.  I can't speak to that yet.
