Anyone try the Brazilian Keratin treatment on chemo curls?

I am happy to be alive and happy to have hair - yay! It is thick and soft - but super curly which I am not a fan of. It just looks goofy, not sexy at all, and I want to start dating again.
I read about the BK treatment, just wondered if it's worth it (it is pricey). ? How long did it last on you? Does it "remove" the curl?
