when to worry about bone mets

I have been having a lot of pain in my upper right thigh, esp at night.  It has started to bother me when I walk now.  Of course I think every ache and pain might be the bc back.  Just wondering if bone mets in let bones usually have pain?

    Just to let you know I started with that kind of pain nearly 2 years ago and what I need is a hip replacement. I am having it done on Jan 19th,2011.

    I also think every ache and pain is bc....good luck to you!

    I have pain in my muscles and joints, especially my right hip. I am having a bone scan Friday to see what it is. I personally think it is from the herceptin but the doctor doesn't agree
