tumor markers

 Hey there!! I seen my onc today I see him every 4 months Im 6 yrs out,my ca27-29 have always been around 32,34,35, this time it shot up to 41 Im so nervious Doc seems to think its from not being on the tamoxipin for 4 months.. I know It has only gone up6 points but im still scared all othe blood work was great. Just want to no if any of you had experince anything like that.. Thanks for reading .. Hi vision, my markers were like yours up and down then it went to 45 dr didnt seem to concerned, then i moved got another oncologist told him about it and he said that was about average normal and that he didnt like doing tumor markers becasue there are so many false positives or negatives and as long as i was feeling fine (which im) not to worry, hope hes right! But i know how you feel i was nervous too, Are you feeling ok? Also he told me certain medicines like fosldax(sp) can change the markers along with other meds too, I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers, hope all is good, oh forgot to mention that i had a friend whos markers were over 6000- Hope this helps, you have a great thanksgiving also (((((((hugs)))))))))

vision, My TM also went up from 38,39 45,47.  I had to be scaned from head ti toe all neg.  Them thy went back to normal.  So don't worry to much you probably have a high normal.  Good Luck
