What do you put on your skin post radiation?  How long did you give this area special treatment?

I used Jeans Cream during my rads, and applied for about a month after I was done. It's a bit on the expensive side. 4 years ago it was going for about $40 a bottle, but worth every penny.

There's some people that used Aloe Vera, but there's only certain kinds that you can use. Your rad oncologist or nurse should be able to help you with this.

I used the skin care cream that I used during radiation therapy for several months after treatment because I liked the way it felt on my skin. I think everyone heals at a different rate. Good luck!

Lyy, I used emu oil during rads and I continue to use it. It has anti-inflammatory properties as well as being an excellent moisterizer.

Thanks everyone.  I'm over a year out of rads with an implant in the rads breast.  I do use Vit E oil.  My skin is very damaged from rads and reconstruction, red, tight, shiny.  Just wondering how others were taking care of this sensitve skin after rads.
