Fever often accompanies first symptoms of IBC, which can make one fatigued and/or nauseous.

I don't understand why you can't do mammography - age has nothing to do with it, other than it is is not recommended to do periodic screenings at your age.  If needed to diagnose a current condition, there should be no problem.

You should be getting a mammogram, a breast ultrasound, a skin punch biopsy, and a fine-needle aspiration (FNA) biopsy of any areas of concern discovered in the mammogram or breast ultrasound.  These will also determine if there is any thickening of the skin of the breast - another distinctive symptom of IBC.

You should be getting these things done at the closest Comprehensive Cancer Center; local hospitals will not have dealt with it enough to be able to correctly diagnose or treat it.  These can be found here:

Should you experience problems with diagnosis or treatment, I also highly recommend this site:

    Best of luck to you!

    Sincerely,

    Sean E.
