confused about onc appt coming up[

Hello all!!!

I am between surgery and chemo.(at least i think i am!). i has my lumpectomy and axillary node dissection 3 weeks ago ( 2nodes positive). so on friday, i get a call from the cancer center i will be visiting. i will be seeing the radiation oncologist in a week and a half. over the weekend i start wondering "why am i seeing him first? and not the medical oncologist first?" do you see them both before chemo? i am way confused now. i don't have a medical oncology appt made yet, which i was told i needed chemo. so why am i seeing the radiation oncologist first? so so confused!!!

ok well i must be crazy!! i called the cancer center today. they said it IS the medical oncologist i will be seeing first. thank goodness. i think i know why i thought it was the radiation oncologist. the cancer center has 2 of them named dr. smith. and my medical oncologist is also mr smith! how confusing!
