I would like to thank everyone who recommended this book to me and would like to recommend it to anyone who hasn't read it and is high risk. I'm over half way done with it and it's going to the hospital with me today when I go in for my lumpectomy.

It's an amazing book, with great information you wouldn't find anywhere else (I would never have thought to take large safety pins to the hospital for drains after a mastectomy). I'm giving it to my mom to read, because she doesn't understand why I would choose a prophylatic mastectomy.

If I make it through this lumpectomy today cancer-free, I"ll have a mastectomy in April. I knew this is what I wanted to do, but this book has really helped to cement this decision!
