help, worried about a seroma

I saw my breast surgeon, as well as a mammo and US one month ago. On the ultrasound I saw a black oval shape, the tech said that is just a seroma. After the breast surgeon felt it, he said it is a seroma, fluid that filled the cavity left by the lumpectomy. He said it should be reabsorbed by my body. I have been massaging a scar cream into a rad burn and now it feels like it is getting bigger [the seroma]. Has anyone experienced this? Should I call my BS? Am I worrying about nothing? Karen
