Dear all,

at today's onc/mammogram visit they found .5mm calcification on my opposite breast.  Radiologist says that he does not think it is cancer but wants me to get it out.  I have started the process of calling my surgeon, getting films, etc.   I feel like it will be fine--- it is under my arm (not in the nodes)   and he just felt that a biopsy might not get at it due to its location so that taking it out would be the best course.  I agree...

anyone have anything similar????

I've had calicifations but nor that needed to be removed.  I just wanted to stop by and wish you well.  It's great that we are followed so closely now, so if we do have other problems, they will be caught early.

    XOXO
