Does anyone take bioidentical hormones AND tamoxifin?

i get a biioidentical testosterone pellet every 3-4 months (implanted in my hip) for hormonal migraines, plus it helps with energy levels and increased sex drive, my oncologist is okay with this, my OB has told me that if the tamoxifen causes vaginal dryness that cannot be helped with over the counter stuff that he has estrogen that can be used topically but for now, i dont need that......thats as far as i've gotten in the discussion of bio-identicals....oh, the oncologist did tell me they dont recommend compounding pharmacies for bio's, i'm interestd to hear what others do

I wish I could find an ONC that is Ok with BHRT.  MIne absolutley refuses and says NO ONc will perscribe them.

Some oncs only parrot the party line on bios-- tho Suzanne Somers' oncologist has written her bioidentical rx for 8-9 years. Try some of the knowledgeable Gyns out there.

so mollyann, what bio's do you take? was your BC ER/PR+? i've read suzanne somer's books and always figured i'd do full BHRT but now with the cancer being ER/PR+ i wasnt sure if i could...
