Starting Chemo and Radiation concurrently

Hi,

I had my lumpectomy  and lymph node dissection last Tuesday, When I went back to see my Surgeon he told me that my Oncologist might consider to treat me with Chemo and Radiation concurrently to avoid having cancer cells spread to my collar bone.

Has anyone here gone through this treatment? I'm very concerned about how my body will be effected by this.

Don't panic. I would wait to speak with your oncologist. You can then tell him/her your concerns.
