I had a scope on my knee on 8/26. They found a torn meniscus & osteoarthritis. At my 1 month post op check they had to remove 30 mls of fluid from my knee and injected some cortisone to relieve inflammation which has worked wonders!  But since the injection my LE seems to be getting worse and worse! I do know use of steroids will cause swelling in some people & I'm wondering if that is what's going on here.  Have any of you ever experienced this??? Just when you think you have things figured out, something else rears it ugly head!! I hate this LE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Thanks!

    Katiejane,

Steroids can cause swelling--it's usually short lived. If this has been going on for almost 2 months, maybe it's time to see your LE therapist for a re-evaluation. And, maybe your doctor, just to be thorough.

    It stinks, totally agree.
