Pictures of my breast
The first two are from yesterday and the last two are from today.
Does it look like an IBC rash?!

We are not the ones that can diagnose you. Even with the pictures, it isn't enough to make a diagnosis. IBC has to be biopsied to get a positive diagnosis. It would be extremely (almost unheard of) unusual for the symptoms to come and go (as you have mentioned in other threads) over a period of a year.
IBC usually does not come and go. It usually comes and stays. In my experience - the breast was not "tender" - it was f%#*ing painful! The nipple changed in color and flattened. The entire breast was hot and swollen. This came on overnight, did not go away, and I was biopsied, MRI'd, mammogram'd, and ultrasound'd within a week. (Just a note: the mammogram was clear for cancer, done the same day as the MRI - which showed radical involvement.) And my grandmother died from IBC (yes, genetic family history present).
I would think that if you are this worried (which you seem to be by the multiple posts) - you should request a MRI just to make sure. But, remember - the symptoms usually don't come and go (especially over a year).
Good Luck and I hope your fears are all for nothing! (((HUGS)))

scuttlers - there are other women on here who may disagree with you. I myself have IBC and when first seen was given antibiotics, just in case it was an infection instead of cancer. Which it turned out to be IBC, but on the antibiotics it seemed to disappear as long as I was on them. Just as soon as I ran out the symptoms came right back. So I do agree with you about the biopsy, but the symptoms CAN come and go. This was my experience and I have talked to a few other ladies who have had the same thing happen. Every case is different, Not everyone has more than one symptom. Some women only have the rash and itch.
LSM311 - Please get a biopsy to rule it out the longer you wait in case it is IBC the more advanced it will become. It is a VERY aggressive cancer. If you have it and don't get anything done instead of being a stage 3 you will be a stage 4. 4 is the highest stage. IBC is an automatic stage 3 diagnoses. So please, if you are as concerned as you seem, go get a biopsy.
CANCER SUCKS....(((HUGS))) to all. Leisa
