Absolute weirdness...what in the world?
OK, I had my bc in my right breast and had a lumpectomy 11/07. Today I started having the most bizarre feeling in my left breast. It feels like a cell phone on vibrate! It is vibrating over and over.....sometimes 10 seconds between....sometimes a minute between. But over and over. It vibrates from deep within out to the nipple. It doesn't hurt...just feels weird! What in the world could this be? Anybody else ever have this sensation?

Nope...not flutters....I know what those feel like. The first time I felt it I was leaning on my desk at work and my cell was lying there and I thought maybe it was vibrating. I realized it wasn't. My breast is vibrating! It feels exactly like a cell phone vibrating.
The only thing I can figure is a pinched nerve? I sure hope it isn't any way related to another BC!
Should I be worried? I googled it also and lots of women experience it but no one seems to have an answer as to what it is or why it is happening. It feels so strange!

I had something like that a while back, before bc was in my life...I do think it is related to peri-menopause which can rear its bizarre head as early as in our 30s....Since chemo put us all into some form of menopause, perhaps you are still sorting your hormones out...Here's an odd little website where people are sharing info about this: www.power-surge.com....
Hope this makes you feel a little better, as anxiety seems to play a role in this odd twitching feeling...Oh and it will go away!!!!! Take care, P

OK, it has stopped and I have read more on the subject....perhaps it is this: A fasciculation /fəˌsɪkjʉˈleɪʃən/, or "muscle twitch", is a small, local, involuntary muscle contraction and relaxation visible under the skin arising from the spontaneous discharge of a bundle of skeletal muscle fibers (muscle fascicle). Fasciculations have a variety of causes, the majority of which are benign, but can also be due to disease of the motor neurons.
Except mine was never visible nor could it be felt from the outside.
Weird is all I can say.....and Madalyn...that was so funny about the aliens!

Spoke too soon.....vibrating is back.

I had this vibrating too but never thought to mention it. I felt like worms were dancing in there. Now I occasionally just get a little bit of twinging along the scar site then it disappears for two weeks.
