SurprisedHi Everyone,

I am 66 yrs old and am now on Arimidex after having a lumpectomy and 25 sessions

of radiation.  I started on Arimidex in July and had a Muga scan which showed

an  ejection fraction of 54%, had my second one in Sept. with e.f. of 39% .Has

anyone had any heart complication while being on this medication?

    Papaya,  I had problems with my ejection fraction but it was from chemo and herceptin.  I just started Arimidex (its generic) in August.  I haven't heard of nor read anything on these boards about this being a side effect of Arimidex though.  I'm sure you will be hearing from many of the other wonderful ladies soon.  You may find something on some of the other Arimidex boards (under Hormonal Therapies after treatment).  I hope that you are able to get this under control soon.
