Hi ladies,

I'm still penciling in my eyebrows after finishing Chemo over a year ago.  Is there anything I can do to try to get them to grow back to normal?  It just seems like its never going to happen.

I have heard painting rogaine on your eyebrows might help. Just be careful because the stuff can drip. You don't want it in your eye or landing on places you don't want hair. Stick to the woman's formula. I hear the men's can cause women to have facial hair growth.

Thanks.  Not sure how confident I'd be about using that on my eyebrows.

Anyone else have any experience of other products that worked?

I understand the stuff they advertise on tv and in magazines (Brook Shields) for eyelashes also will work on eyebrows.  I also have not had many return and the ones that did come back grow in crazy directions.  I have had my eyebrows tatooed on; not crazy about the results but I was tired of trying to draw them on.  I ended chemo late Aug 09.   I did not have a lot of eyebrows to start with so that may be part of my problem... it did not take the loss of very many to put me in a no eyebrow situation.

I have the same problem...bleck!  I have read on this site about others who use latisse which is normally for eyelashes on their eyebrows with success.  I think that unless you continue to use latisse then the hair growth is not permanent.  I am also looking into eyebrow tattooing....looks pretty good!

Thanks. I'd rather try a few things first before I go down the tattoo route.

    Thanks for your help.

The eyelash growth solution works on brows, too.  I do have tatts, even did them the second time (facial dyes are less permanent than reg. tatt dye) but still used them on the brows in hopes of dying them to match my hair color---didn't happen.

I do use eye shadow(they had stopped making auburn pencil) but have recently learned that Estee Lauder has a fine line brow pencil.  Much easier to work with than those which have to be sharpened.  I began using a pencil when I was about 12 or 13, brows have always been sparse.
